We need to give emerging leaders in education a voice.

29 May 2013 | General Interest

Leadership is a skill that can’t be taught but is inherently in all of us.

Emerging Leaders are teachers beginning to take on leadership responsibilities or who show leadership potential.

We need to give them a voice and we need to help them develop the skills required to lead groups of people and bring about change.

The leader of the future is one that looks for new ways of doing things, embraces change and innovation, and is an engaging communicator.

These teachers will be shaping the future of learning. Innovation is needed in schools, and it’s not going to happen if no one steps up.

How do you support an emerging leader motivated to make a positive impact in your school?
